AWESOME SPELLERS!

On January 11th, our local school Spelling Bee was held. The words flew fast and furiously. The students heard the word and then had the chance to spell it correctly. If they got it correct, they sat down for another chance. But if they misspelled the word, they were eliminated.
We started with ten and soon there were only 2 left to battle it out. For the next few minutes, they heard the word, spelled the word, then sat back down for the next time in the spotlight. In the end, Morgan from Mr. Lucchesi's class took first place and Kara from Ms. Rice's class became the runner up.
Congratulations to Morgan and Kara for a job well done!

On January 4th, our newest Most Valuable Players were honored at the morning Faculty Meeting. They are Violette Bakhos, Bianca Kelly, Joseph Lucchesi, Kenda Gilbert, Dr. Lauri Burton, and Carol Black. They were honored and presented with medals for their accomplishments for our school.
