Dear Parents:
Welcome to the beginning of an exciting new school year. We have much to look forward to in the year ahead. Our goal is to bring parents and teachers together to bring great programs to B. B. Harris Elementary. We aim to give teachers the support and appreciation they deserve, and to provide all students with the fantastic programs they enjoy. We are sure this can happen with your participation.
There is a wide variety of activities planned for the coming school year, and there is always room for another pair of hands to help! We invite you to join us and all the fine people whose involvement makes the PTA a success.
You can get involved on any level, in any area that matches your interest. If you have an eye for art, the Reflections Art Contest could use your help. If you are a book lover, come take in the Media Center Book Fair or read with the Lunch Bunch. If you are known for your cooking skills, whip up a favorite dish or dessert for any of our Teacher Luncheons. If outdoor sports are what you enjoy, join the kids as they race around on Field Day. Or, if you get a thrill at preparing for parties, our Mega Event or Candlelight Luncheon have a spot for you, too.
We are looking forward to working alongside all of you over the months ahead. Our efforts of teamwork will ensure that B.B. Harris Elementary continues to make strides and progress forward. Remember - "FINISH STRONG...EXCELLENCE FOR ALL."
